Itinerary 1: Hull-Leeds – Newcastle – Manchester - Liverpool
Day One
Hull
Morning
Start your Experience in Hull Old Town at Hull Minster. Visit the eclectic free local and national art exhibitions inside England’s oldest parish church and pre-book a guided tour of this 700 year old building and 4 faced clock tower.
Afternoon
Take a pre-booked backstage tour of Hull Truck Theatre, the city’s resident theatre company, and national trailblazer, made famous by the comedy plays of local writer John Godber, now housed in a purpose-built theatre presenting plays, comedy and music performances.
Evening
Enjoy cocktails at the Lexington Roof top bar and dinner in Marco Pierre White’s Steakhouse, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, once the site of the Lexington Avenue nightclub, this contemporary 4* hotel is perfectly located for exploring city centre.
Day Two
Leeds
Morning
Take an early bus ride 10 minutes outside the city centre for a pre-booked tour of Kirkstall Abbey, a ruined Cistercian monastery sat on the banks of the River Aire, founded in 1152 disestablished by Henry VIII.
Afternoon
Explore Leeds’s independent food and drinks scene with a pre-booked ‘Leeds Guided Food Tour’ of the best pubs, street food vendors and restaurants. Day Three
Newcastle
Morning

Evening
Step back in time at Blackfriars Dominican Friary dating back to 1239 - the oldest dining room in Britain. Medieval Banquets, cookery workshops, gin tasting, are all pre-bookable.
Day Four
Manchester
Morning
Get familiar with 200 years of the city’s history on a pre-bookable ‘Taxi Tour’ with John Constantine, Manchester’s only Green Badge Tour Guide and Taxi driver.
Afternoon
Eat the City on a Magnificent Manchester Food Tour (Scranchester Tours), a gastronomic adventure, sampling some of the best food and drink the city has to offer, whilst learning how food offers an insight onto the city’s past, present and future.
Evening
Stay the night at King Street Town House, set in a 140 year old building and home to Manchester’s first infinity spa pool overlooking the city centre.
Day Five
Liverpool
Morning
Day Five Liverpool Morning Get to know the city on the City Explorer hop-on-off service. Liverpool is serious about culture, comedy and style with a great tradition, fabulous humour and stunning architecture.
Afternoon
Discover the ultimate history of British rock and pop at the British Music Experience, featuring video booths, interactive exhibits and live music, located on the waterfront in the former Cunard building, then head next door to the Royal Liver Building 360 for a trip up to see the Liver Birds and panoramic views of the city and river Mersey.
Evening
Spend the night at the Hope Street Hotel, Liverpool’s first boutique hotel situated in Georgian neighbourhood and on the same street as Liverpool’s Everyman Theatre, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, and bookended by the Anglican Cathedral at one end and the Metropolitan Cathedral (Catholic). Have dinner at the Award winning London Carriage Works restaurant.
